As outlined in Executive Order 2022-31, Governor Henry McMaster directed the South Carolina Department of Commerce (S.C. Commerce) to designate an EV coordinator to serve as a resource and point of contact for the business community and industry stakeholders, as well as federal, state, and local government entities and members of the public for EV-related issues or inquires. Additionally, the executive order directed S.C. Commerce to establish an informational webpage to serve as a resource repository to prioritize and enhance ongoing electric vehicle economic development and recruitment efforts. As a result, S.C.
